5. Man Seiko always makes such a beautiful clean looking watch. Specially the mechanicals and older Seikosha. Very smooth and quiet running too. I would love to have one of these for my daily timer so much.

7. Seems like the 88 series had different beat rates (as did the 89 series). Mine runs at 36000 and measures 1/10th. Once around the dial is 30s instead of 60. Minute counter goes to 15.

8. ?? means Forgiveness in Chinese, and the words are formed in a more classical, poetic manner, ie its not used in daily speech. It might be in Japanese Kanji also, as Japanese use Chinese words in their language, it usually means have the same meaning with Chinese, unless if its a name.
