  1. Garmin HRD-Dual, it should be mentioned for novices like me, Garmin chest straps by themselves don't work, don't buy one and expect to connect it to an Android phone for example, it needs to connect to Garmin smart watch or other garmin add-on.

  2. Why are those cost so much? Smartphones cost the same, but need 50 times more work and materials for production. No way u buy heartrate monitor more then 5$. What is going on?

  3. Does the Coros heart rate monitor (arm strap) work with the Garmin 935? I understand Coros only supports bluetooth and Garmin's pages suggest the 935 works with 'some' bluetooth devices. I wondered if anyone had tested this combination?

  4. 1st thing I care about is a chest belt that does not fail due to leaks. Wahoo Tickr got sweat inside and Garmin HRM-Dual too. Garmin battery drained overnight.

  5. I use Polar H10 for intervals and progression runs. For long steady runs I use the Polar OH1. Both connect to Garmin 735XT.

  6. Shout out to coros customer support for answering my call right away and answering all my questions while also carrying a conversation about running shoes ?

  7. H10 work with everything specially Gym machines. But the HRM-PRO is a powerhouse that the only downside you have to connect to some machines manually.

  8. What is missing from this excellent overview? Arm strap heart rate monitors with LED color indicator for heart zone training. No watch required for HR display. No need to rotate wrist during run or cycling to read HR number on watch, and no need for reading glasses for us oldies. Simple and effective and affordable. I wear mine just below the elbow, in plain site. Love it.

  9. Hear because my wahoo tikr chest is near wrecked since the battery back is soft plastic. Even with a coin I’ve nearly stripped the back out lol. I liked wahoo for it linking up with my bike computer and zwift.

  10. I got the polar h10 thinking the garmin wasn’t going to friendly with my Apple Watch

  11. Polar H10 was bad. Sent 2 back. Poor battery life, frequent cut outs and really low readings.

  12. Great video guys. I love the back and forth conversational style – really good – please do more of these for other reviews

  13. I have the polar H9 and H10 – both seem to be very accurate however the H10 supports 2 Bluetooth connections which is nice for some non AnT+ gym (or other) equipment

  14. This was really useful, thanks for sharing. I try to base my training on heart rate and am just using my Garmin forerunner watch for this at the moment. Might go for the Coros arm strap I think.
