Pro Survivor functions: Cumulative split 1,2 fast finish Split release action Event timeout 24 hour time range 12/24 time of day Date and day of week Features: Million-cycle, no fail buttons Ergonomically designed, heavy duty case 1.5 years battery life Magnum XL display Water resistant up to 100 feetThe Accusplit Survivor A601X Stopwatch is the best value PE stopwatch on the market. With the exclusive Accusplit ‘X’ case design and the million-cycle switch buttons, this is the most durable and popular stopwatch for basic timing needs. The million-cycle no-fail switches are an Accusplit exclusive and are ergonomically designed for maximum performance and ease of use. They snap instead of beep and have been tested for over a million cycles without failure.
The A601X operates on the Watch Company Operating System (WOS 2.5) used by most watch manufacturers, which employs a two-button system. The right button is used for start and stop, the left for split and release. The A601X stopwatch features cumulative-split timing. The cumulative (CUM) time is the capture of elapsed time to current event and consists of all splits beginning to end. The split time is the interval of time measured from the start of the timing to the next pause of time.
The A601X also features the one-button start-split-split system where the first split is first place, the second split is second place, and it shows a one-two fast finish. This stopwatch is available in five solid and translucent ring colors, has a 1.5-year battery life, and has a magnum extra-large digital display for exceptionally easy reading. The A601X is water resistant up to 30-meters and includes time, date, and alarm functions, making it a great low-cost stopwatch for basic timing needs.

I used this Accusplit Pro Survivor stopwatch for much of the track season (coaching Jr. High track). The ease of use was excellent. I really liked the tactal feedback of the buttons — no doubt when they are pushed. The buttons are warranted for 5 years, and the device is “date coded” so that no receipt is neccessary if you do need to get it fixed.
The display is easy to read, even for my old eyes. 0

Fantastic Stopwatch, By

One thing only mentioned briefly in the description – this watch does NOT make a beeping noise when you hit the buttons. It makes a sort of dull click. For those of us looking to use a stopwatch in a quiet environment and an unobtrusive way (I’m a stage manager) this is FANTASTIC.
*Edit – after 8 months of use the clock on the stopwatch is unreliable. I have had to reset it about once every two months – it very slowly gets fast. 0

Cannot review split times – Useless for swimming, By

This review is from: ACCUSPLIT Pro Survivor – A601X Stopwatch, Clock, Extra Large Display (Sports)
This is a perfectly good stopwatch – if all you want to do is note your finish time, or note 1/2 finish times. But, if you want to remember split times, you’d better have pen and paper handy. Once you restart the watch following a split, there is no way to cycle through and view the split times! So, if you’re trying to time multiple swimmers/runners, or if you’re trying to record 25/50 split times, this is not the watch for you. Again, no fault of the manufacturer or the reviews – I should have looked more closely at the functions.
